Nyasa Rainbow Alliance, under the auspices of the Resisting Injustice, Supporting Equality (RISE) project, an intervention that aims to advocate and raise awareness on conversion therapy in some selected districts in Malawi, welcomed Thiruna from Outright International on its project inception meeting held at its offices in Blantyre on November 4, 2024.

The two-day training, comprising an NRA team and a consultant, discussed a number of issues relating to project modalities, including reporting.

The audience was also joined online by renowned experts on the subject of Conversion Therapy from East and Southern Africa who have done extensive research on Conversion Therapy in South Africa and Kenya.

NRA is implementing this two year project with funding from Outright International.
